So I'm all moved into my new place. I'm liking it a lot in some ways, and perhaps not in others.
It's nice to have a home again. My time homeless was less then ideal. Couches and floors can do in a pinch, but nothing beats your own bed. Also, I'm able to keep the place much cleaner then my previous living arrangements, since it's all up to me (the mess and the cleaning). Plus, the location is excellent. Those things are nice.
However, it is perhaps a little lonely. Mind you, not having the internet yet night be adding to the problem. I suppose I've just been used to having people around. This, really, is my first time living truly alone. From my parents house to dorm to Cummer to Keywest, I've always been living with friends or family. I've always been able to find someone to shoot the shit with when nothing else was going on. It's perhaps something I undervalued before now.
It's just a matter of adapting though, and adapt I shall. I think step one will be getting the internet: my communication. But beyond that maybe I'll learn to make plans with more intention; to perhaps call people and ask them to do things. That seems obvious, but I think I've spent most of my social life just doing whatever comes up. It's worked pretty well until now, but I get the feeling things will come up a little less then they used to. C'est la Vie.

Don't ya worry ... I'll try to keep you occupied somewhat :) And your cutlery organized ;)
Ya, that's true. It's so different having to make and arrange plans instead of just stepping out your bedroom and seeing what's all going on. Whereabouts is your new place? Is it an apartment? Basement?
An apartment, close to Dufferin and King. It's a nice little bachelor.
