Google Toolbar
Okay, so I've used Google Toolbar in the past, and found it to be a good tool. I'm generally against clogging up browsers with unneeded UI, but it's my opinion that this one offers enough to make it worth while. Such as a built in spell-checker, Gmail support, and PageRank.
Well, version 2.0 just came out of beta, and I read that you can add custom buttons to it. So out of curiosity, I mosied over to the API page. After becoming interested I actually made a button for it. It will allow you to search any website you happen to be visiting at the time. You can get it here.
However, programming done, and ready to invite more Google into my life, I discovered that the new 2.0 version was not available for Firefox. Alas, naught can be done but wait. They'll probably have a Firefox version soon, because all of their other products support Firefox (often more then IE). Anyway, I thought I would share my disappointment with you all.
