Thanks brother. I was a little afraid, not of your anger, but of your lack there of. I was afraid you'd take his side some how and I would feel rejected. we haven't always been too close and I was scared. I struggle with what to do. Should I be Christ-like? Because he would forgive the unforgivable, trust the untrustable and forget the unforgettable. I'm torn. I seek your advice.
Christ forgives, he does not forget. There is a difference. Trust must exist with reason, it is not something that can be granted arbitrarily when it is not deserved.
Amber, forgiveness is a good thing... But I'd be lying to you if I suggested you should do it tomorrow. It will take a lot of time. It will take time for me to forgive him as well. I can't even tell you I understand how it should happen, or how much time is not expectable. I really don't know...
