I propose this question to everyone who keeps a xanga. What is your favourite post? What post means the most to you; shows something crucial in your journey; displays with perfect accuracy what you were feeling when you wrote it; relays some truth that may serve one day to change a man's life?
I would encourage all who read this to try and think of one, as difficult as it might seem. Comment with a link to it. If I get some responses I will share my own, or what it seems to be it right now.
ps. Don't be frightened by my request, I'm not demanding perfection here, it just sounded nice to write it like I was... I would rather you respond then not, even if you're not convinced you have one.

I've been writing in my xanga for a little over a year now, I believe. I'm guessing I have approximately 400 entries, because I don't write every day, but some days I have made multiple posts.
I use my xanga to express my feelings 70-80% of the time. (The other 20-30 is for pictures, jokes, rambling, links, etc) My writing is important to me, and I would hope that I portray my emotions and truth acurately in most if not all my entries. I work through my self and my life in these entries with the words I type onto the page.. and all of that is crucial to me in my journey.
So, I really don't think I can do it.. I am strangely attached to my entire xanga rather than individual posts, and I think I have way too many to choose a favourite. Sorry :-/
there are a couple of posts i like, but i think the one that most accurately portrays what i was feeling at the time, was a protected post that i wrote shortly after all the shit with my mom happened.. i'll email it to you, i don't want to post it here for the world to see (sorry world)
Most of my posts are just silly updates or thoughts. A couple are more... "this is what I've been learning or thinking about lately and I'm in the mood to write" posts. Those are the ones that I like and that mean the most to me. Probably because they are more thought-out and because they generally come from something deeper inside me than "this is what I did this week"
sooo... I think I really only have three... and a half.
Thurs. June 24 (the elementary school crush), Friday April 16 (good-bye tyndale), Friday March 26 (no one is exempt/community), and Thursday March 18 (discover truth, embrace life - really short)
yup.
No idea how to make links to them. I just clicked "last 5" a whole bunch of times. I haven't been doing this for that long so it only took like 4-6 clicks.
i'd have to say my favorite is the first long one i wrote about different xanga styles- you all remember it too. not terribly good writing, but it still amuses me and is memorable, so that's got to count for something. i've only ever wrote one extremely heart-felt entry and i still hate it, so it gets no vote from me. the best writing on my site has probably been the one about time being fleeting and me not wanting ice cream for breakfast anymore. no one else seemed especially fond of it, but i still treasure that one.
the best thing you have ever writen, in my humble opinion, is that hilarious reflection on your days working in the factory with the random instructions. classic, simply classic... good times
Thanks for your replys. Mine all have to be taken in context, really, but the top 2 in this order:

Haha, but I do like the one you mentioned Dan. I opted for the more emotional ones though.
Well, I had a hard time choosing my favs. I have more than one...but they display the bipolarity of my moods/thoughts/life. Anyways, in no specific order, here they are:

My protected post from Thursday, June 17 (sign in first to see it, or e-mail me if I wasn't able to add you to my protected list) -> http://www.xanga.com/item.aspx?user=nightcrawlers_doppelganger&tab=weblogs&uid=100058961

The other ones are sometimes funny, sometimes sad...but they're all me. I didn't want to put too many on here...three is probably good enough. Nice question Aron, it really made me think.
I'm looking forward to visiting you soon.
